Pedram Fazelzadeh (b.1989) is a contemporary swedish painter who began his artistic journey, in 2011, when he switched gears and left the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm to study at the Swedish Academy of Realist Art - a traditional art school dedicated to teaching classical painting and drawing techniques applied by masters such as Rembrandt, Reubens and Velazquez - instead.
After finishing his studies he continued to work at the school as an assistant teacher until it was time to move on and set up his own studio.
In 2016 he was chosen to participate, and became a finalist, in a televised contest on swedish television where 10 artists would compete for a solo exhibition at a famous museum in Stockholm.
